There's another new happening in Priyan's life is the sound studio that he has built in Singapore. "My children Kalyani and Siddharth study in Singapore. So, I already have a home there. The sound studio was done for practical reasons. It will be of tremendous help to Indian ad-makers who had to go from Singapore to Hong Kong for sound mixing and dubbing. My studio provides them the sound facilities that will save them plenty of time and money."
Priyan's sound studio in Singapore is open to all filmmakers. "The idea is to not just benefit myself but the entire Indian entertainment industry."
Priyan will also have the privilege of directing the Taare Zameen Par star Darsheel Safary in a remake of the Iranian film Children Of Heaven.
Says Priyan, "Percept has bought the rights of the Iranian film that will feature Darsheel. I've never done a film which has children as the central characters. So that's a new challenge for me."
